Leagrave Dining Chair

Of lighter construction than many of my garden chairs, this chair will suit a smaller balcony or terrace. With regards to the design, the Leagrave design shown in J P Whites catalogue was a heavy design with thick legs and a deep straight front rail to the seat. I have taken my Leagrave seat design from an 18th Century painting which show a much more elegant seat with tapered legs and arm supports and finer construction. The result is a delightful collection of chairs and garden seats with the grace of the original seat featured in the painting.
