Both Oak and Iroko garden furniture can be left natural, but Clear Preservative can help protect the wood from
algae growing on it, and leave the furniture to weather an attractive silver colour over time. Unlike teak oil,
Clear Preservative will not change colour of the wood after it has been applied to the wood.
All of our Iroko garden furniture can not only be left to weather into silver grey naturally but can also be
painted with one of our colours or any other colours you like. We use matt microporous water-based paints. We
would advise matt which is a microporous paint that allows the wood to breathe through the paint and requires
much less maintenance than gloss. We are pleased to send you our standard colour samples. Alternatively you may
send us a sample of the colour that you require and we will try to match it.
For Oak Garden Furniture, we recommend that Oak be left natural, unpainted.
The following colour chart is for illustration only. Colours are not exact and will depend on your computer and
printer as well as the paper you print onto. However, they indicate well the range of colours and tones. Please
contact us to send you actual colour samples.
