The
Difference between Versailles Boxes and Baroque Planters
Left : Versailles Box
(VB162) and
Right : Baroque Box (BB162).
The internal dimension of both planters are the same,
and both planters
also use the same Glassfibre Lining (GF172).
Versailles Boxes
Versailles
Boxes are made in five standard sizes with
other sizes to special order.
Glass reinforced plastic
(Glassfibre) liners are available to protect the wood - these
liners sit on an internal ledge and the top rail, drainage is from
a hole positioned at a lower level of the liner base to ensure that all
the water issue away from the
timber. Wire inserts can be provided to
convert the
boxes into litter bins for car parks and shopping centres.
Versailles Boxes & Pyramids
The
design of Versailles Pyramids was influenced by
Andrew Crace 's trip to
Egypt in 1984.The
mortice
and tenon structures in five standard sizes are designed
to be used with the Versailles Boxes or can be used directly on the ground. Both
uses provide elegant supports for plants and will supply good form in the
garden during
winters as well as giving a feeling of instant maturity in
new garden areas.
